More About Me

I believe in relationships. Working with couples and families on relationships is a calling, and seeing a healthy shift in how they connect and interact with each other brings me great pleasure. I also support individuals in relationships to communicate, connect, and engage with their loved ones. Specifically, I guide people to attend to their unwanted behaviours and emotions. Without strong bonds and secure relationships, they may feel overly stressed, fearful, lonely, anxious and depressed. On the other hand, strong bonds create balance and harmony and help shield them from other stresses, like work, school, society and community.

When working with couples and families, I focus on the relationship or the connections and engagement between people. I become curious about what is present and how people act and react. This is a collaborative process, and I guide them to connect with and get to know their parts of self and each other’s parts to see how they connect and disconnect. Most importantly, we make a safe space by moving through conflict and addressing issues of pain and anger so that they can be with each other in compassion and connection.

I hold a Bachelor’s of Social Work degree and am currently completing a Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Windsor. As a final requirement of the program, I am in placement at The Relationship Agency working under the supervision of Michelle Garraway. For the last 6 years, I provided adult individuals with psychotherapy at first on contract involved in car accidents and then in my private practice.
