More About Me
Relationships—whether with yourself or others—are at the heart of a fulfilling life. As a therapist, I believe that healing and transformation happen in the context of safe, supportive relationships, and I am deeply committed to helping my clients build the self-compassion, skills, and connections they need to thrive.
My goal with therapy is for it to be transformative - that means real, lasting change. Therapy with me isn’t just talking about your feelings or learning new communication skills, it’s work that will help you to reduce conflict in your relationships, heal your fears and shame, and take you to a place of deeper intimacy, connection, and understanding.
I enthusiastically use PACT (the Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy) when working with couples because it is effective and enjoyable to practice. It really works, and it works by helping you to become experts on each other, to learn to regulate your nervous system so you can show up as the best you, and to take you to a place where your relationship is solidly and securely built on agreements that serve your mutual interests.
I also love working with individuals. My approach to individual therapy is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a powerful model that helps you build a deep, trusting relationship with yourself—learning to understand, accept, and integrate all parts of who you are.
My therapy training and 6+ years experience as a practicing therapist allows me to specialize in working with individuals who have experienced complex trauma, relationship struggles, impulse control challenges (including excessive pornography or alcohol use), anxiety, and depression.
Therapy with me is an active, collaborative process. My clients appreciate that we always have a clear direction, adjusting as needed to ensure continuous progress. I bring curiosity, compassion, and lived experience to my work—I understand the challenges of mental health and relational conflict firsthand, and I know the transformative power of therapy because I’ve experienced it myself.
My hope for you is that through our work together, you will not only find relief but also a deeper sense of wholeness, peace, and connection—with yourself and in your relationships.
Let’s begin your journey toward healing and transformation.
