If your anxiety is related to burnout, we can help you sort through your options and find courage to make decisions and plans to change your environment for the better.
Our therapists are trained in effective methods for managing anxiety and burnout such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and specialized methods like Brain Rewiring.
In addition to our training, we just understand. A lot of the clients who work with us feel something is wrong with them because of their anxiety, but we know it’s not that simple. We’re not meant to parent in isolation, we’re not meant to “do it all”, and we’re not meant to to live just for the purpose of achieving and being productive. So much of why people experience anxiety has little to do with their health on personality, and a lot to do with the narratives they carry around, the environments they live in, and their relationships.
Many of our therapists have worked in high-pressure environments such as hospital ICUs and senior leadership roles in the government - they understand the pressures of performance and carrying big responsibilities, and have made changes themselves to reduce their own anxiety.
If it can be changed, our individual therapy for anxiety will help you take steps to change it. If it can’t be changed, we’ll help you find acceptance and peace.
